Scope and controller
This notice covers the PikTap customer app, PikTap Business merchant and staff tools, and piktap.app. PikTap operates a technology marketplace connecting customers to independent merchants offering vehicle pickup; it is not a delivery company. Confirm the legal operator named in the published store listing before launch.
Information we collect
Account and contact information such as name, phone number, one-time verification details and optional email. Order data such as items, merchant, checkout details, selected pickup window, order history, optional vehicle details and arrival status. Location selected by you, and device location when permitted for discovery, navigation or arrival features. Device identifiers relevant to app operation, push notification tokens, IP addresses, security logs and crash diagnostics when enabled. Business inquiry details submitted through our website, including contact information, city and number of branches.
Use and legal basis
We use information to establish and secure accounts, show participating merchants, facilitate orders, route them to merchants, calculate pickup timing, send notifications, prevent abuse, provide support and comply with applicable laws. We request device permissions as needed. You may disable permissions in device settings, but certain features may be limited.
Sharing with merchants and service providers
We provide independent merchants with the information reasonably needed to fulfill orders and coordinate collection. Contracted suppliers may support hosting, identity/OTP messages, maps, push notifications, customer support and security. Information may be shared where legally required. The actual vendors and SDKs must be checked against the released apps and store disclosures.
Location and payments
If you enable location access, your location may be used to suggest nearby participating merchants and estimate arrival. Where available, you can select an area manually. Payment options depend on the merchant and release phase; cash on pickup may be available. If electronic payments are introduced, relevant processor and data disclosures will be updated.
Retention, choices and deletion
We keep personal information for periods reasonably necessary for operations, dispute resolution, security and legal duties. You can ask for access, correction or deletion via our support channel and the linked Delete Account page. After verified deletion, profile data and other information no longer needed is removed or de-identified, while transaction or fraud-prevention records may need to be retained as legally required.
Security, international processing and children
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no service is completely secure. Data may be processed by PikTap and its contracted providers in other countries subject to appropriate safeguards. PikTap is not specifically intended for young children; parental involvement may be necessary for minors.
